Nannaku Prematho is an afternoon primetime Telugu television show that is telecasted on the Star network channel, Star Maa. The show is aired from Monday to Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The runtime of the show is 30 mins. Nannaku Prematho is a family fiction with a twist of drama to suit the Indian palette. As the name of the show suggests, the backdrop of the story is that of the love of a father for his family and his daughter and the emotions attached to them.

The story of the show revolves around Vasundhara, a regular girl who belongs to a regular family and loves them a lot. She is raised by her parents until one day she finds out that the family that she had been raised in, is not her real family. The parents who brought her up are not her birth parents. After a lot of self questioning and dilemma, she gets to know about her birth father, Raghupathy Naidu and her family tells her about the atrocities of an evil politician.

Learning the truth, she sets out to fulfill her birth father’s lifelong dream, but her paths are crossed by that of Durga Bhavani, the same evil power-hungry politician. They enter into a rivalry and the politician tries to create major disruptions in Vasundhara’s way of fulfillling her father’s dreams. Durga Bhavani’s son Sanjay is wary of all this and is friends with Vasundhara. And in due course of the store, Sanjay falls in love with Vasundhara.

The twists and turns that unfold further in the story, the romance and drama and how Vasundhara overcomes all the hurdles life throws at her and emerges victorious is what story of the show is all about. The first episode of the show was premiered on April 3rd 2017. The show replaced another favourite primetime show.

The show is just in its first season and has already completed 45 episodes. The show is much talked about and liked by masses because it is a family drama and all the family emotions attached to it.
