Telecasted on Maa TV, Uyyala Jampala is a Telugu drama series which portrays the sweet and spicy relationship between different members of a family. The program begins by showing three South Indian families and goes on to show the bond of love, affection and respect amongst them. Gradually, the unbreakable bond of love turns bitter due to ownership issues between them related to a property. Family dramas are liked by viewers of all ages as these programs depict the day to day hip and happening in a regular household. Generally, all the members of the family get involved to solve a problem. Such instances will be seen in the coming episodes of the series. The program begins by showing Arjun, a cab driver, and his trip to the railway station to pick up his grandmother. There he finds Vennela, who is in urgent need of a cab at the same time. He decides to provide help to Vennela by leaving his grandmother on the station.

The grandmother loses her cool after knowing this. The series further goes on to show how Sunil destroys Vennela's office property and assaults Narasimha Rao. Vennela brings Sunil to task when he troubles her and questions him for his misdeeds. After hearing of a spat between Vennela and Sunil, Neeraja, Shantamma and Arjun rush to help Sunil. Vennela makes Sunil apologise to Narasimha Rao for assault and snubs Shantamma who tries to defend him. Vennela also threatens them to call the police.

She doesn’t stop here and further accuses Arjun of assaulting Narasimha Rao. Finally, Arjun gets arrested. Keshava goes to the hospital to meet ailing Narasimha Rao and requests Vennela to get Arjun released. Narasimha Rao also asks Vennela to withdraw the case and convinces her to end the matter. Vennela, a strong-willed girl, asks Keshava to fulfil her demands to get Arjun released. After the jail episode, Arjun loses his cab dealership. Vennela asks Arjun to compensate for the loss and pay the price for the damage.

Eventually, he does pay a heavy price and faces criticism from Shantamma for letting the family down. Later, Arjun finds another job and begins leading a simple life. The story goes on like this for few months. One day, Vennela realizes that she has feelings for Arjun. She plans to confess her feelings, but is finally denied by Arjun.
