ETV Television Network Private Limited in association with the Eight P.M. Productions had entered into an agreement to provide for a new musical show with a different theme. They had come to a conclusion that the new event must be completely different as that of the competitors and must drive audience all over the globe.

Owing to the increasing rivalry, need for the better program, and keeping in mind the T. R. P. ratings at the year end the new event had emerged. It had borne the title Jhummandi Nadam. After the birth, they had searched hard for the presence of a new anchor. The criteria let out for the selection had that they must be a singer, hold certain experience in the anchoring field, and must be capable of knowing about the guests well. They had finally shortlisted ten members.

The Production team along with the Broadcasters conducted the final phase of auditions. They had unanimously decided to make the new age singer Sunitha to host and compere the entire season. The modern music director Taamaan held the chair of Special Guest at most of the time. The theme of the drama had that the singing legends had called up.

They shared their experience in the journey. Sometimes the singers get into how the composers had approached them. They had recollected some of the situations where there would be face off with other singers as well.
