Teerthayatra is a show that provides information about all the temples all over India. It is a complete cultural program. It began its telecast in September 2011 and is still on the air. It is telecasted on ETV channel one of the leading channels in the Telugu language. Teerthayatra word itself has a meaning in it. Teertha refers to holy, and Yatra means journey. So, it means the pilgrimage to holy places like temples. It also means a divine visit to holy places. This show covers all the Temples in India from North to South and East to West.

Few of its recognized shows is the on which was telecasted on air on 19 April 2016. It showcased about the famous Hanuman Temple, which is in Ananthapur District, Muridi village near Rayadurg town, Andhra Pradesh. The recognized part about this, which encourages people, is that it is a 450-year-oldTemple. The statue of Lord Hanuman is just 3 feet, so they named it as Muridi Hanuman Temple. It is around 45Kms from Karnataka. In the Eastern part of India lays the famous Jagannath Temple, which is located at Puri, a state of Odisha. It is famous for its RathYatra. If they are devotees of Lord Krishna and Vishnu this Jagganath Temple is a must visit for them.In the 12Th century, the Temple was built. It was when the Ganga Dynasty was there in India.
