B C Baal- The Private Detective is a Bengali web series. It premiered on the Addatimes platform. It falls under the genre of suspense and drama. Md. Sahidur Rahaman plays the character of Baal. In the first episode, a broken husband comes with a case about his wife. The man suspects that his wife is cheating on him. Hence, he comes to Baal to seek his services and find the truth. He gives some proof to the detective and mentions a few names. Baal then keeps the top two suspects under surveillance. Not only has he, but his girlfriend became a partner in putting efforts to solve this case. Baal’s alter ego guides him in the case and leads him to the final suspect to solve the case of an extra-marital affair.

A new case comes to Baal when a famous rock star loses his diary right before the concert. After the concert, he returned to his room and searched for it everywhere, but the diary was not around him. The diary was his life as it had all his new songs, tunes, notations, etc. Losing his diary led to defamation and legal troubles. Baal visits the concert stage and tries to recreate the scenes of that day. He meets all the suspects and works on some clues. The detective gets some new clues that change his opinion when he goes to meet the singer. He reinvestigates and finds the real culprit in front of everyone. Baal solved the mystery with his presence of mind and alter ego.

Another case comes to Baal when an actor with a political connection becomes the subject of laughter among the people. The actor is partially bald and hides his baldness with a wig. One day, while shooting, someone stole his wig, and his bald head became a subject of discussion. He gets irritated by this incident and decides to find the culprit. The actor goes to Detective Baal to seek his help. Our detective records his suspects and promises to solve this mystery in 3 days. After a thorough research and traps on the suspects, Baal finally exposes the thief of the wig. On finding out the truth, everyone gets shocked.
