The film is available in Bengali, Hindi, and Odia languages. Kunal and Ishika meet at a house party hosted by their friend Ritu, where Kunal is the photographer. Ishika, feeling out of place, becomes bored during the event. Later, Kunal leaves the party early, disappointing Ritu, who wants more photos. That night, Kunal's immaturity becomes evident during a heated interaction, causing Ishika to see him in a less favorable light. He spends the night at Ishika's flat but awakens to find her missing, sparking concerns about her identity and intentions.

Kunal's search for Ishika intensifies, but his efforts prove fruitless. In her absence, he decides to leave the flat quickly. Days later, Ishika asks for Kunal's help to decorate her new home. Kunal, along with Ritu and Rik, aids in the process, leading to a new friendship. During their conversation, Ishika mentions the idea of finding a flatmate. Overhearing this, Kunal persuades her to consider him.

As time passes, Kunal and Ishika's affection for each other grows. However, their relationship faces challenges when Dipak Babu, the flat owner, discovers Kunal's presence. After an interrogation, Madhavi Devi, Dipak Babu's wife, helps secure permission for them to live together. Their love story takes a turn when Kunal learns that Ishika is in Kolkata for work training and dines with her ex-boyfriend and senior colleague, Vishal. This revelation upsets Kunal. Meanwhile, Ishika receives a job offer in Delhi, forcing her to choose between love and her career.

Unexpectedly, Ishika's mother and aunt visit her, leading to a surprise encounter. To conceal Kunal from them, Ishika arranges for his discreet departure. However, he must return when Dipak Babu addresses a water supply issue in her flat, leading to an awkward situation. Ishika's family discussions about her marriage further complicate matters. On the other side, Madhavi Devi's health deteriorates, leaving Dipak Babu and Kunal alone in the bustling city.
