TOP CHEF JUNIOR

TOP CHEF JUNIOR is an American reality cooking television series. It is the sequel of the TOP chef series. It was ordered in 2008, to run eight episodes on Bravo channel, the show had never aired nor known if any episodes were produced at that time. However, nine years later, Top chef junior was mentioned as the Marquee program for Universal Kids channel (channel launched on September 9, 2017).

The Contestants are of age group between 9 -14 years and consists of 12 young chefs. The winner receives $50,000 and the title of Top Chef Junior. Actress Vanessa Lachey hosted the show. Top Chef Masters and Top Chef Duels host Curtis Stone was serving as its head judge. On October 13, 2017 Top Chef Junior was premiered. In November 2017 Top Chef Junior was renewed for a 2nd season and was premiered on September 8, 2018. Contestants are Carson Peterson age 13 from Ventura, CA; Ella Bass age 13 from Berwyn, PA; Eric Martinez age 10 from Spring, Texas; Kate Daniel age 12 from Houston, TX; Londyn Green age 11 from Atlanta ,GA; Nikki Bidun age 11 from New York, NY; Noah Cryns age 11 from Evanston, IL; Olivia Acosta age 10 from Long Valley ,NJ; Rogers Mathews age 13 from Corona, CA; Simon Weisserman age 12 from Los Angeles, CA; Sophie Frankowski age 13 from New Orleans, LA; Tyler Cappelluti age 13 from South River, NJ. The WINNER of Season 2 was Nikki Bidun and was crowned “TOP CHEF JUNIOR.” Londyn Green was the RUNNER – UP of the competition.
