Anubandha is a family drama serial that revolves around the relationship between a mother and her daughter. Sumanthi is a doctor, who loves her daughter Kanmani beyond words. Kanmani and Shalva are in love. Kanmani dies a tragic death leaving Sumanthi in grief. Sumanthi begs Kanmani’s distant cousin Suryakanthi to agree to transplant Kanmani’s face onto her so that the world believes that Kanmani is alive. Suryakanthi agrees to it. She has to act in front of her parents, family, and also Shalva that she is Kanmani. This gripping family drama with all its twists and mysteries has attracted a large audience.
