Aadhe Adhoore is an Indian TV series aired on Zindagi channel from December 2015 to April 2016. The show centered around Jassi, a young married woman living in rural Punjab with her loving mother-in-law Beeji and brother-in-law Varinder, while her husband Narinder works abroad. Despite being an ideal daughter-in-law, Jassi feels incomplete without her husband. It is revealed Jassi and Varinder are having a secret affair and are deeply in love, regularly spending forbidden nights together behind Beeji's back.

When a marriage proposal comes for Varinder, Jassi convinces him to accept to protect their affair. However, Jassi soon discovers she is pregnant and panically gets an abortion with Varinder. Though they hide the truth, the wedding is called off. Jassi then finds another match for Varinder, and he marries the naive Channi. Now married, Varinder starts caring for Channi while continuing his opportunistic affair with Jassi, deeply hurting her with his indecision. This complicated romance forms the crux of the dramatic storyline.

Eventually, Beeji discovers their relationship and argues with Jassi, tragically falling to her death from stairs during the confrontation. In the finale, a pregnant Channi also dies accidentally. The show touched on complex themes of adultery, forbidden love, morality, and the quest for fulfillment. Despite well-received performances, it was canceled due to objections over Jassi's controversial character. Sonali Nikam plays the lead role of Jassi, the young married woman having an affair with her brother-in-law. Arpit Kapoor plays Jassi's husband Narinder who works abroad. Varinder plays the brother-in-law that Jassi has fallen in love with. Geeta Udeshi takes on the role of Saroj Beeji, Jassi's affectionate mother-in-law, unaware of the affair under her roof.
