The story revolves around Iccha. Iccha comes from a poor family. Iccha is a traditional girl who is good at her studies.

Her family and teachers are proud of her. She is a perfect daughter, sister, and student. Her parents have worked very hard and saved every penny for her studies. Iccha has an elder sister, Urmi, who is married. Iccha has completed her medical degree and is now interning as a doctor. Her parents want her to get married soon, as she has finished her studies. Iccha does not want to get married as soon as she is concerned about her career. She is mentally not ready to get married. But her mother and her sister somehow convince her.

A man and his mother come to their house to see her for marriage as Iccha’s mother invited them. While returning home, Iccha finds an injured man on the road. She takes the man to the hospital where she works. The man at her house takes offense that since she is late, she must be irresponsible. They also want Iccha not to work after marriage. Iccha simply rejects the proposal as she feels all her studies and degrees will go to waste. She goes to the hospital to meet the injured man. He introduces himself as Satyashil Gaikwade. Satyashil falls in love with her at first sight. As their interactions increase, Satyashil knows more about her and likes her more than before. He even injures himself again on his discharge day so that he can get to stay a little more in the hospital. During his stay, he tries to woo Iccha. Iccha takes this lightheartedly.

She gets more prospects for marriage, but Iccha finds none of them to be fit for her. Every man wanted to sacrifice Iccha to sacrifice some important part of her life, which was not acceptable. Finally, Satyashil proposes Iccha. Initially, Iccha rejects him as she does not know much about him. But finally, she gives in. They get married. Iccha had to face a lot of challenges after her marriage. She navigates through all the hurdles to live a happy life and for her husband’s welfare.
