Each woman has her unique story to speak, and together, they form a strong bond of friendship and sisterhood. The series begins with the arrival of nine women at a temple in Madurai. They are all there to celebrate Navaratri, but they are also all there for their reasons.
Anu is a young woman who has just lost her husband. She is struggling to come to terms with her grief and to find a new purpose in life. Kavya is a successful businesswoman burned out and looking for a change. Nitya is a talented dancer who is struggling with self-doubt. Malini is a single mother who is working hard to provide for her children. Rani is a young woman from a small village who dreams of a better life. Shanti is a wise and experienced woman who guides the other women on their journey. As the nine women come together, they understand to support each other and to grow as individuals. They also learn the importance of friendship, family, and faith.
