The mini cooker is a Tamil reality cookery show that airs at 05.00 PM during the lockdown period in 2020. This show utilizes the skills of the children below the age of 10 during the pandemic in 2020. In this show, the children cook easy foods, and the parents record it as a video. They send the video to the respective channel. The channel edits and telecasts the selected video. The children with their pleasing voice entertain the audience during this quarantine. They explain the ingredients required, and they cook the dishes alone without the help of their parents. The channel adds extra comedy dialogues and songs as the background music of the show. The children prepare easy and fast dishes like a veg sandwich, chapati, biryani, palkova, chocolate cake, salad chapati, variety laddu, chocolate ice-cream, tomato soup, Bhelpuri, tea, fruit salad, kuzhi Paniyaram, etc.
In the meantime, it is not a competitive show as there are no judges, and this show gives extraordinary gifts to the children. In small voices, they serve food mixed with affection. They, without their parents' help, face some fun difficulties while cooking. Usually, the presence of children makes the moment interesting. But even during the quarantine, no one cannot be quite at home. Children get bored and turned their interest in doing such naughty activities. The parents are also happy because by learning cooking, they think that children could help them during mealtime. The parents in this show sometime try to help their children when they forget the recipe. We can hear their parents' voices in between. These shows encourage the children to execute their talents.
