Tamil Tv Show Yes Or No

Yes or No is a Tamil language TV show that aired on the channel Vijay TV every Saturday evening from 23 September 2017 to 20 January 2018, with each episode lasting for 40 to 45 minutes. The show was hosted by the Tamil movie comedian Jagan. It is a game show that invited celebrities to play with the public. Each episode invited 128 common people and four celebrities to play the game. The show had two celebrity teams, each consisting of two players. They were randomly placed at two podiums naming Yes and No, next to each other. Behind the podiums were the audiences’ seats that are again divided into two teams. The game is about a few guests showcasing their talents and the players betting on their abilities.

In the first level, a person showcases their talent, anything that a normal person finds hard to do. After they perform, the host gives them a challenge related to their talents. It could either be in numbers of in the form of finishing something in a given time. The audience needs to say whether the challenge can be done or not by a show of placards that are painted with the colours green (for yes) and red (for no). They then need to divide themselves into teams of 64 each and sit behind the yes and no podiums. If the performer accomplishes the task, those who said yes are safe and the audience that said ‘no’ need to leave, and vice versa. In the second level,

the celebrities perform a task given by the host, and the 64 audiences divide themselves into two teams, 32 vs. 32, saying yes or no. All the remaining rounds follow the same format. In the third level, a talented guest is invited and the audience now plays 16 vs. 16. The fourth level is for the celebrities and the audience play 8 vs. 8. The fifth level challenge is for a talented guest and the audience play 4 vs. 4. The sixth level is for the celebrities and the audience play 2 vs. 2. The last level, the seventh one, is a talented guest challenge and 2 players from the audience remained. Whoever wins this round receives the gifts.
