Preeti Amin comes from a typical commercial minded Gujarati family settled in Hyderabad. She happened to discontinue her studies which was Chartered Accountancy final year but joined Kathak classes to learn dancing and brushed up her acting skills likewise. She was searching for opportunity even after her parents objected to pursue acting career. However, after some successful performances in Hyderabad, they got convinced to believe she could make living out of it. She went to auditions in Zee Tv with program “Zee Cine Stars Khoj” and with her successful audition, got selected for the role of Jiiya in the serial “Jhoome Jiiya Re” aired on Zee Next channel as evening soap. Her debut serial was Telugu popular serial “Chakravakam” directed by Manjula Naidu and received a huge response for her role as Sravanthi in the serial.
