Aey Ishq Hamain Barbad Na Kar is a family drama serial that was broadcast on ARY Digital on 22nd October 2010 and continued up until 27th January 2011. The serial consists of a total of 30 episodes each with a time period of 40 minutes approximately and revolves around the concept of love and the sacrifices one has to make for their loved ones. The serial is divided into two parts showing two different families that have the same parallels and are interconnected somehow with the timeline. One story revolves around Ania and Imran while the other story revolves around Azaan and Manal. Ania is portrayed as a theatre actress who is bold and enjoys the art of dramatics.

Imran on the other hand is portrayed as a theatre director who has fallen for Ania and her whole personality. However, things between them get complicated when another man named Sameer enters the picture and gradually falls for Ania as well. When Imraan leaves Ania alone Sameer decides to support Ania and hence their relationship develops. Meanwhile, in the second storyline, Azaan is portrayed as a cartoonist who is in love with Manal. Manal is depicted as a kind but status-conscious woman who is the daughter of Azaan’s teacher. Manal has taken up more character traits from her mother Madiha rather than her father and is hence depicted as a vain woman. Things take a turn for Azaan when another woman named Shiza enters his life. Shiza is portrayed as a wonderful young woman who is humble and down to earth and has nothing to lose except her life. The two storylines depict two scenarios where both the love and passion between two souls are tested by a number of circumstances and this leads to the depiction of true love and what a human can do to save the person they love the most.
