The show is centered around the unconditional, and unrelentless love between a mother and a son. The unique storyline of the show is based on the true story of a mother and a son, showing their challenges and how they handle them. The show was first aired on 16 November 2015 and ran till 18 April 2016. The story revolves around a young, bold, and brave married woman Maryam. Even though Maryam is stuck in a troubled marriage, she doesn’t let it influence the upbringing of her child Ali. Throughout the show, she tries her best to give Ali great moral values and a sharp mind.

But the main question arises, which is, when Ali grows up, will he be able to understand the sacrifices that his mother made for him? Would he or would he not appreciate his mother the way she deserves? Or would this ‘mama’s boy,’ treat Maryam just like his father? The rest of the show deals with that.

Maryam finds that Nadir whom she loves is earlier married to a girl named Sobia, played by Zainab Qayoom.
