Ek Mohabbat Kay Baad is a Pakistani serial that premiered in 2011 on ARY Digital. It belongs to the romantic drama genre as it focuses on the dilemma of a man to balance out his attention to love and responsibility. The serial focuses on the life of Ahmer Hussain, a hard-working man married to Raina, a loving and caring woman. However, even after five years of marriage Raina cannot conceive which made Ahmer upset and sick. Unknowingly, Ahmer crossed paths with Joya and they fell in love. Later, Ahmer married Joya and they had a child. Raina was unhappy with Ahmer's second marriage and didn't get along well with Jiya.

The story escalates when Jiya had an untimely death and Ahmer has to take complete charge of his son. Due to work pressure, Ahmer couldn't take care of his son, and seeks a helping hand from Raina.
