Noor, a beautiful young girl, lives in a Kotha with her mother, Salma Jahan. Salma wants to shield Noor from the darkness of the Kotha and sends her to pursue studies at the university. Noor is unaware that her father, Wali Khan, is alive and her mother has lied to her. At the university, Noor meets Zaviyar Khan, who starts to like her and wants to marry her. Bushra, Zaviyar's cousin, and Wali Khan's daughter, desires to marry Zaviyar. Murad Khan, Zaviyar's elder brother, becomes infatuated with Noor during his visit to Chanda (Noor's cousin) in the Kotha. Salma intervenes, slapping Murad when he attempts to force himself on Noor, leading to Murad's vow for revenge.

Murad had sent goons to abduct Noor, and while rescuing Noor and her friend, Sawal, Zaviyar got injured. When Salma and Noor went to the hospital to meet Zaviyar, Salma bumped into Wali Khan, who revealed his prolonged efforts to find her. Wali Khan visits the kotha to meet Salma, while Bushra informs Zaviyar of elders contemplating their marriage. Noor escapes the kotha with Sawal's help, arriving at Wali Khan's house with a letter from her mother. Wali Khan reads Salma's letter, welcoming Noor home but fabricating a story about Noor to Nida and Baba Jaan. Baba Jaan warms up to Noor, leading him to decide on Zaviyar marrying her. As preparations for Noor and Zaviyar's Nikah progress, with Bushra's assistance, Murad hides in Noor's room and kidnaps her.

At the Nikah ceremony, Noor's absence shocks everyone. Heartbroken, Zaviyar locks himself in a room. Zaviyar and Bushra get married after deliberations. Zaviyar accidentally overhears Bushra and Murad's conversation, revealing Murad's true intentions for kidnapping Noor. Zaviyar divorces Bushra, who admits her role in separating Zaviyar and Noor. At Kotha, when Noor was getting married to Ubaid, Murad came in with a gun. But before any mishap, Wali Khan shot Murad. The last episode of Kahan Ho Tum premiered on 22 June 2018.
