The story revolves around Dr. Rabail, a caring young woman. She was raised by her uncle Asad and aunt Nafeesa after her parents' death. Rabail's cousin Umair develops feelings for her, but she sees him as a brother. To resolve this, Nafeesa decides to get Rabail married quickly.

In a parallel storyline, Zain, the son of a wealthy businessman, mistakes Rabail's cousin Nishaal for Rabail and falls for her beauty. Despite the misunderstanding, they grow fond of each other. However, Zain ends up being engaged to Rabail under pressure from his father. Zain marries her to honor his dying father's wish. Their marriage remains unconsummated as Zain pursues Nishaal. Eventually, Zain leaves Rabail to be with Nishaal, not knowing Rabail is pregnant. Over time, Zain realizes his mistake, seeing Nishaal's true selfish nature. He attempts to reconcile with Rabail, who has moved on with Umair's love. The story depicts the complicated web of relationships, betrayals and the profound consequences of prioritizing.
