Meri Shaadi Karwao is a Pakistani serial premiered in 2019 on Play Entertainment. It is an Urdu-language serial. It is a rom-com situational drama that features a family and its hilarious situations. The serial begins with Jibran, the middle son of the family, returning home late and getting caught by his father. Jibran has secretly married his long-term girlfriend, Richa. However, he hasn’t told anyone about his nikah. When Jibran’s father questions him for coming home late, he cannot make a sensible excuse, and thus, his father assumes he has been loitering with his friends and playing cards. Jibran’s father doesn’t stretch the conversation as it is their elder daughter’s birthday.

Later, Jibran finds himself in an unpleasant situation as he has to eat the birthday dinner. Richa took Jibran to a restaurant for dinner and didn’t expect the situation to take an uneasy turn for Jibran. The next day, Faiza discussed the well-planned birthday with her younger sister, Aiza. The narrative moves forward with Richa being upset about her secret marriage with Jibran and forcing him to reveal the secret to his father. At the breakfast table, the father is discussing the children’s marriage and declares that Faiza will be the first one to get married. However, Faiza refuses the declaration made by her father. She notices the glow on her sibling’s faces upon hearing about their marriage. She suspects Aiza of being in a relationship and informs her father about the same.

The story escalates when Jibran takes his uncle’s help to reveal the secret marriage to his father. Jibran finds himself in an unexpected situation as he narrates his love and nikkah story to his uncle in the garden. Jibran doesn’t want to confess the marriage to his father, for he will get angry.
