The serial revolves around two sisters named Jahan Ara and Roshan Ara. Jahan Ara is portrayed as a strong, independent, headstrong single parent who had earlier left her husband because he had chosen a wealthier woman to be his companion instead of her. Roshan Ara on the other hand is portrayed as a mature and composed young lady who is much more mature than her elder sister.

As the time passes, both the sisters along with Haryali Bua come upon a house that they rented from the landlord named Shahnawaz. Shahnawaz is portrayed as a very strict man who is living with his nephew named Arsal. As the time passes, Jahan begins to make the life of Shahnawaz miserable while Roshan Ara and Arsal fall in love together. The whole ordeal leads to the formation of absolute chaos, drama and comedy that will leave the audience in a rollercoaster of emotions.
