It is the story of a simple girl named Mushq (Yumna Zaidi). She belongs to a conservative family and follows the rules set by her father, Iftikhar Ali. One day, she met Sehba (Komal Aziz Khan). Influenced by her modern lifestyle, Mushq became her friend. Nomi (Danial Afzal Khan) is a childhood friend of Sehba. He is not a good person and a drug addict. He also used to be friends with Irtiza (Shehzad Sheikh).

Now, Sehba starts liking Irtiza. However, she gets jealous after learning that Mushq and Irtiza liked each other. Hence, Sehba plotted against her friend and made her life hell. Later, just before the wedding of Mushq and Irtiza, she kidnaps her and locks her in Nomi’s room. Mushq managed to save herself, but everybody thought something worse had happened to her. So, Itiza and his family canceled the wedding. After that, Iftikhar Ali insists his daughter marry Ismael, a nice man.

Mushq hesitantly married him after waiting for her lover. However, the new couple started living as two strangers in the same house with no love for each other. After some time, her father passes away from a heart attack. Meanwhile, since Sehba succeeds in her plan, she convinces Irtiza to marry her as per the wishes of their families. She even extended her wedding invitation to Mushq, to which she agreed to come with her husband.

Later, on the wedding day, Nomi exposes Sehba’s truth in front of everyone, leaving Irtiza baffled for rejecting a good and pure girl like Mushq. Angered by everything, Sehba murders Nomi and gets hospitalized due to injuries. She passes away after asking for forgiveness from Mushq. Irtiza is heartbroken after Mushq refuses to give him a second chance but forgives him. She chose her husband, Ismael, due to his kind and loving nature. Finally, Mushq and Ismael started living a happy life with each other.
