The story revolves around Momal, Immad, Afroz, and Sameer, four close friends from the same university. Immad has deep feelings for Momal, but she is in love with Sameer. When Immad confesses his feelings to Momal, she suggests he discuss it with Sameer, and surprisingly, he agrees.

Additionally, Afroz harbors affection for Immad and decides to express her feelings. After a year passed, Momal is now married to Sameer, and they live in the United States, while Afroz and Immad are together in Karachi. Sameer, who works in the United States, develops feelings for his divorced boss, Sofia, who agrees to marry him because he divorces Momal. After a disagreement, Momal returns to Pakistan and stays with Immad and Afroz. They place a bet on Immad's loyalty. During a vacation, they encounter Sameer, who has been deceived and abandoned by his boss, Sofia. Momal is reluctant to forgive him.

Later, Immad confesses his love for Momal, and Afroz permits them to marry. However, Afroz's inability to conceive strains her relationship with Immad. Before leaving for good, Sameer contacts Momal. Immad then meets Sameer, and they discover that Momal married Immad solely for a religious practice called "halal," which involves marrying another man and divorcing him to remarry her ex-husband. While Sameer is somewhat shocked, Immad is left heartbroken.

Momal and Sameer take Immad and Afroz to court. Sameer wants Momal to testify that Immad is incapable of having children and that he created a fake file claiming Afroz can't conceive. Momal is initially scared but then opposes them. Afroz's friends return from vacation, learning about the situation. There are fights between Afroz and Momal, Sameer, and Immad. However, it was later revealed that Momal is pregnant with Immad's child. Sameer wants Momal to abort the child, but Immad wishes to have his first child. Momal is uncertain about what to do. In the end, Afroz leaves Immad, telling him to find happiness with Momal and their child.
