Pasanga released in 2009 was his directorial debut which won him the National Film Award for the category Best Screenplay. The man is the Tamil director and producer Pandiraj. He is also the Godfather to a lot many in the technical department in the industry.

Before becoming a director the man has worked as an office-boy for director K. Bhagyaraj, was the assistant director for Cheeran, the director. Born in the year 1976, he grew up in a small town of Virachillai, Pudukkottai in the state of Tamil Nadu. The man finally got a breakthrough when M. Sasikumar agreed to produce Pasanga. The film managed to bag three National Film Awards. Based on the name of his first movie, he started the Pasanga Productions in 2012. Marina, directed by him was the first the project for his production house.

Idhu Namma Aalu, directed by him is a romantic comedy which earned positive reviews for which he had started working in 2015. Haiku was another children’s film directed by him. The man says that the audience these days is smart. He also believes that the audience judges a movie by its posters, trailers and hence the first impact is quite eventful.
