Assitant Cameraman
An assistant cameraman is responsible to bring out the best from the vision of the DOP. They look after the physical aspects of the Camera, i.e the light thing, the lenses, the settings, etc.
The assistant cameraman is well versed with the technical part of their job and thus follow the commands of the DOP to generate the desired shots. The assistant cameraman is the one who technical and literally do the job of placing the camera, moving them, giving directions, tilting, etc. On the directions of the main DOP.
The assistant cameraman has his own team which he is a part of. A camera needs a lot of man power to be handled and thus this team has multiple camera persons to operate it. He should therefore be skilled at his job as technically he is the one who operates it. A camera assistant can later on be evolved as a DOP.
