Asha Bordoloi is an Indian film actress coming from the north-eastern state, Assam. She was born in Barhampur, Nagaon, Assam. Asha has worked mainly in the Assameses language. She has done her Bachelors in Arts subject. Asha has worked in multiple stage dramas and movies in Assamese. In 2004, she acted in the film ‘Monot Birinar Jui,’ directed by Ashok Kumar Bishaya. She appeared in ‘Jeevan Baator Logori,’ released in 2009. She worked in the film ‘Dwaar,’ directed by Bhaskar Hazarika.

Asha also worked in various stage plays and television series. ‘Junbai,’ ‘Anurag,’ ‘Umal Bukur ‘Xejar Kahini,’ ‘Jeevan Dot Com’ AND ‘Sabda are a few of the serials, she has worked in. ‘Siraj’ is one of the stage plays performed by Asha Bordoloi. Asha played the role of ‘Malati’ in the film ‘Kothanodi.’ The film even won a National Award. Asha is also active in politics. She joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and became the Cultural Committee in Charge of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. She assumed office on 2nd September 2020.
