Bharat also produced several famous serials, like Rang TV and Mangal Sutra. Bharat’s childhood revolved around the exploration of art and culture. He was very drawn to his state’s traditional art forms and culture from his early days. As a kid, he always went to watch weekly theater plays with his grandparents. These experiences helped him build a strong background for his future production endeavors. He also founded a production company named Kamrupa Creation. Kalita passionately followed the work of legendary filmmakers and producers.

Slowly, he realized cinema was a vital medium for depicting Assam’s rich culture and traditions. In the early 2000s, Bharat entered as an Assistant Director. He works on commercial documentaries, web series, short films, and movies. He produced exceptionally well-written stories that received critical acclaim from the senior industry artists and the audience. Bharat also received several awards and accolades for his contribution.
