Neel Akash Das is also known as Sanjay Das, and his nickname is Neel. He is an Assamese singer, musician, music composer & producer, actor, lyricist, YouTuber, and Internet personality. On November 15, 1991, he was born in Bordubi, Tinsukia, in Assam, India. He completed his schooling in his hometown. Later, he took his graduation from Tinsukia College, Assam. After graduation, he has been working in Assamese Music Industry. He loves to play cricket and watch football. His hobbies are making music, singing, and traveling.

His mother’s name is Deepa Rani Das. He has an elder brother named Pran Deep, and a sister, named Tribeni Gogoi. He married his girlfriend Nancy Phukan Das on February 28, 2021, at Margherita, Tinsukia. He has been living in the Moran town of Dibrugarh in Assam, India. Neel Akash Das was interested in music from a young age though he never wished to be a playback singer. His family supported and encouraged him to become a singer. Later, in 2008, he started the singing profession with the local stage performances in the Bihu folk dance festivals of Assam.

In 2016, he released his debut solo album, “Bihuwan.” Also, he uploaded the album on his own YouTube channel. In 2017, he released volume 2 of the album Bihuwan. His solo track “O Sakuntala” from the album Bihuwan got hit and crossed over 16 million views on YouTube. He has released many hit albums, including Enajori (2016), Misakoi Nokobi (2020), Sikuti Sikuti (2019), and many more.

He has also acted in several music video songs. He got famous for his Assamese Bihu song with “Rap” in Assamese Bihu culture, known as “Rap Bihu.” He has been performing in the Bihu festival and program of Assam for more than a decade. Neel Akash Das was honored with the Best debut singer (Male) award in 2016 by Ramdhenu television channel for his first solo Bihuwan album’s song Sakuntala. He was also awarded the Best Video Song in 2016 by Assam Talks. In 2020, he assisted in the “Flood Donation Drive for Assam.” He distributed essential needs in the flood-affected areas of Assam.
