Arun Saha’s full name is Arun Kumar Saha. He is a Bangladeshi film actor, musician, and oil worker. He was born on November 9, 1983, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His mother’s name is Anita Saha, who is a school teacher. His father’s name is Monoranjan Saha, who is a college teacher. He is the younger brother of Kanta. Arun Saha was passionate about acting since childhood. He went to St. Joseph High School in Dhaka and then to Notre Dame College in Dhaka. In 2006, Arun went to the University of Delhi, India, to pursue his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2014, he took his Master of Science (MS) degree in Renewable Energy Technology at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. 

He got inspired by a theatrical play titled “Tomrai,” written by Abdullah Al Mamun Abdullah Al Mamun, born on July 13, 1942, was a Ba >> Read More... . In 1996, he marked his acting debut in the Bangladeshi full-length feature film “Dipu Number Two,” directed by Morshedul Islam Bio coming soon... >> Read More... . The film is based on the 1984 novel of the same name by famous author Muhammad Zafar Iqbal. He portrayed the lead role of Dipu, and later the film earned a special status and was acclaimed among children and adolescents. Also, Arun Saha won the Best Child Actor award at National Film Award for the lead role of Dipu. In 1998, the film was also screened at Fukuoka International Film Festival in Japan, which Arun Saha attended.

He featured in telefilms and television commercials in 2015, including Okapia Mobile. Arun Saha also pursued a course in music and learned classical guitar from Denis Azabagic, a Bosnian classical guitarist in India. He also learned to play the guitar under Iftekhar Anwar in Bangladesh. Arun Saha has performed orchestral music (classical Music Academy of Dhaka) at different venues, including the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and Chhayanaut. He can also play the trumpet. Since 2013, he has performed in two Bangladesh Television programs, such as Oikyotan and Shilper Bari. Arun Saha worked in the petroleum sector as a wireline logging field engineer for Weatherford International and HLS Asia Limited (2006 – 2010).
