Rubel Das

Rubel Das, also known as Surya Rubel Das, is an Indian actor who appears predominantly in Bengal films and TV serials. He was born on 5 September 1990 in Barasat, West Bengal, India. Das did his schooling at Barasat Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School and later at Acharya Prafulla Chandra College, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Das studied dance from the age of six. As he is a good dancer, he has a very flexible body. He was first known to the world through his performance in Dance Bangla Dance in 2008, which he won, and took part in Dance Premier League.

Das worked as a dance instructor at Shiamak Davar's Institute of Performing Arts but later left it in 2011. Das also worked as a choreographer. He is quite conscious about his responsibility as an actor and feels what he is today is because of his dance teacher, Debasish Ghosh, who helped him in his personal and professional life. The Calcutta Times voted Das as one of the Top 10 Most Desirable Men in 2018.
