Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury

Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury is a film director in the Bengali film industry. He has directed and produced several Bengali movies. Aniruddha is involved in this film industry since 1987 and has directed and designed television software and then later produced and directed for many television commercials and advertisements. The brands for which he has produced includes, Philips, Coke, Nestle, Hero Honda, Britannia, Hindustan Levers and more.

Anuranan is the first movie shot by Aniruddha's in the year 2006. It was also the first Bengali film that had been shot in London. Anuranan also got premiered in the 2006's International Film Festival of India. Also, it was given screening at Cannes International Film Festival, Independent South Asian Film Festival, the Bollywood And Beyond Film Festival and 2007 Mumbai Academy of Moving Images Film Festival. Anuranan was a successful movie which won critic's good reviews. In the year 2008, he won the award for Emerging Film-Maker at Santa Cruz Film Festival.
