Sanjoy Deb, also known by his stage name Sanjoy, is an aspiring musician, D.J. artist, and electronic music producer in the Bollywood film industry. He is widely known for composing the hit song Shangri-La which was one of U.S. Top 40 EDM and dance radio. He was born on December 18, 1991, in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and lives in Los Angeles, California with his parents. Sanjoy Deb completed his high school education at Evergreen Valley High School and earned a business degree from San Jose State University. Though he was raised in San Jose, he felt deeply rooted in his traditional Bangladeshi culture. He started his music career by collaborating with his brother, Kunal Agarwal, and went on to create various mash-ups and remixes that became famous among the Indian-American community.
