Atanu Raychaudhuri is a film producer and an advocate. He is known for his Bengali movies. He is also a senior advocate in the Calcutta High Court. He went to Baruipur High School. After completing high school, he went to the University of Calcutta to pursue law. He became an advocate in the High Court of Kolkata after completing his law degree. It is the highest and most powerful body of the judiciary body in West Bengal. After a few years of law practice, he established his firm in the Calcutta High Court. Atanu started his career in film presentation. He presented Bengali movies that aimed at social welfare.

The commercials for these movies were quite successful. "Sanjhbati" was the first movie to be released under the production of "Bengal Talkies." He started film production in 2012 with the film "Muktobhara." Followed by "Alik Sukh- A Tale of Fleeting Happiness," "Belaseshe," "Praktan," "Posto," "Prajapati Biskut," "Haami," "Sanjhbati," and "Tonic Film." He won the Anandalok Award 2012 for Best Film for the movie "Muktodhara." He also got the Zee Cine Award 2016 for best film and the International Bengali Film Awards 2016 NABC for best film for the movie "Bela Seshe."

His movie "Praktan" won the West Bengal Film Journalist Awards 2017 for most popular film and the International Business Film Award 2016 for the highest-grossing Bengali film. The 2021 movie "Tonic" won the title of "Best Film" in the Filmfare Awards Bangla 2021 and the title of "Most Popular Film" in the West Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards. He is quite insightful in both entertainment as well as legal matters. He has come a long way from where he began. The movies he provided us with resulted from his passion and hard work.
