Deep Shresth is a famous Bhojpuri movie director. He is the fourth son of the late Vishwanath Prasad Verma. Deep started his studies at Sir Ganesh Dutt Memorial School, Pataliputra. From the beginning, his interest was in the field of art, after which he engaged himself in plays and from here, his direction changed when he started getting recognized. He received the Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award in Mumbai while Mahadevi Verma Memorial Award in Delhi for his incredible performance in the industry. Deep Shresth played an essential role in saving and grooming the Bhojpuri industry.
He also composed many music albums and conserved the heritage of folk songs, folk culture, devotional songs, Chhath Puja songs. Deep Shresth has maintained his status in the film industry for almost three decades and started his career with his first movie, Mai Ke Dular. He acted in thirty-five movies and twelve hundred songs. He had a significant role in establishing the T-Series. He joined politics and is an active member of the BJP.
