John W. Burton was one of the most prominent personalities of the American Film Industry. Burton was a well-known American cinematographer and animated film producer known for his work Warner Bros, Cartoons. Mostly, he got recognized for Unnatural History, Goldimouse and the three cats, and Ascent of the Matterhorn.

He was born on August 18, 1906, in Rockford, Illinois, to a well-fitted family. He was grown mainly in the former country by his parents only. Speaking about his educational qualifications, he completed his schooling at one of the nearby prestigious schools in his town and later went to a University for further higher studies. After completing all his studies, he dived into the world of Cinema. He began his journey and worked hard to establish his name across the nation. At first, he got the opportunity to work at Leon Schlesinger Productions in Los Angeles, California, the USA as a cameraman, technician, and general troubleshooter. After some time, John was promoted to production manager when Warner Bros. bought out Schlesinger, and the studio was later renamed Warner Bros. Cartoons in 1944. This step motivated him to work more diligently and make his name among the others. Afterward, he produced numerous movies which received vast acclamation from the audience all around the world. His work got hugely acknowledged by superiors and viewers from all around the globe and helped him in attaining popularity. He has lent his talent towards several notable movies including, Rabbit Romeo in 1957, Hare way to the Stars in 1958, Knighty Knight Bugs in 1958, Weasel while you worked in 1958, Apes od Wrath in 1959, The mouse that Jack Built-in 1959, Goldimouse and the three cats in 1960 and The mouse on 57th Street. All these movies were blockbusters and assisted him in building his career. He worked his life working for the Film Industry and earned high respect. Unfortunately, he died on June 1, 1978, at the age of 71 in Los Angeles.
