Jeff Dunham is a comedian who does stand-up comedy, ventriloquist, and a show producer originally from the United States. He came on earth on the 18th of April 1962 in the city of Dallas of Texas. He formulated an interest as well as a skill in ventriloquism ever since he was a child of just eight. He started working in the same field when he was in his teens in church, school, and other such gatherings. Journalists like Bill O’Reilly noticed and recognized his talent.

In 1980, he began to attend the Baylor University to earn a degree in the field in communications. Alongside, he kept doing performances and secured a lot of money annually. Word of his talent spread far and wide, and he was very soon requested to be a part of Sugar Babies, a Broadway stage drama.

He was discouraged about his stream for a while due to less demand of ventriloquists in the comedy field but soon was offered a regular performance time in his friend’s comedy club called The Comedy Click to look into! >> Read More... and Magic Club. In 1988, he was offered a part on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Carson but was later canceled. Jeff Dunham was not disheartened and worked on till he was finally invited to the show again. The episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Carson starring him got aired on the 6th of April 1990.

The guests who got featured with him were B. B. King and Bob Hope. Later, he did several TV shows as well as performed in advertisements. He also made many performances in different clubs. Though he treats his appearance on Jimmy Carson’s show as his big break, Comedy Central’s show, Comedy Central Presents was his first major landmark. He gave a solo performance in the show. He released a Video Comedy disk funded by himself with the name Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself.

The second production by him of this kind was Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity. He received a lot of fame on YouTube through this video. He played the voice of Achmed, the dead terrorist. He later released Jeff Dunham’s Very Special Christmas Special. This album of his was, like his previous two productions, aired on the popular show Comedy Central. He also released to his audiences a music compilation with the name of Don’t Come Home for Christmas.

By now, he had gained a lot of popularity with Comedy Central and did his fourth program, The Jeff Dunham Show on Comedy Central. This show had the highest watched premiere ratings but got canceled after one season due to the high cost of making. He later did another string of shows on Comedy Central. By his character Achmed, the Dead Terrorist, he gave him the voice in the animation motion picture Achmed Saves America.
