Bennett Miller is American film producer and director. Miller was born in the New York City of the United States of America in a middle-class family consisting of his parents in which his father was a contractor, and his mother was a painter. He completed his graduation in Film program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Miller made the debut of his career in the year 1998 through the directorial venture of a documentary titled The Cruise. The documentary was a surprise hit for him and marked the starting of his career flight. This documentary got released on DVDs in the year 2006. After this, he refused to take up any new film projects until he got enough support to direct biographical film Capote in the year 2005.
