Brad Turner is a film director, television director, and photographer from Canada. He was born on June 22 in Bayfield, Ontario, Canada. He graduated with honors from the H. B. Beal High School Television Arts program in London, Ontario. In total, he has directed 13 films and more than two hundred episodes of TV series. He has been nominated as director for the Gemini Award six times, and in 2004, he was nominated once for his work in the CBC miniseries "Human Cargo". He also won two Canadian Directors Guild Awards for the same work.

In 2005, 'Human Cargo' also won the Peabody Award. Turner also won the Manitoba Film Awards for Best Director of Television Film and was nominated for the Best Director of the American Cable TV Ace Awards. Brad is also passionate about visual arts and owns the Turner Gallery, which sells and promotes living Canadian artists. The gallery is located in his hometown of Bayfield, Ontario. In the fifth season of 24 years, he became one of the main directors of the show, leading half of the season with Jon Cassar. He started as a producer that season and served as the supervising producer of the co-executive producer in seasons 6 and 7. In the eighth and final season, he was promoted to executive producer and directed the finale of the series.

In 2006, as a member of the program production team, he won the Primetime Emmy Award.
