A long cherishing journey for nearly three decades, giving successful movies and getting Awards, well known for his adaptations of roles, the French man, lover boy of all time. The man who titled himself not ones but five times as the best actor in various international film festivals, over 77 plus movies both in English and French it would all call out to Charles Vanel. Charles Vanel is an actor, well known for his characters in many French and English movies, series and plays. Charles Vanel was born on 21st August 1892, in Renne, Ill-et-Vilaine in France, he was graduated from Northwestern University, he was a well known for his acting and his direction of the wages of fear (1953), Diabolique (1955) and Top Catch a Test (1958). However Charles adapted himself to be stable in both the languages English and French, he has made his debut in 1912 in Robert Pegues Jim and is perhaps best remember for his role as a truck driver in Clouzot. The wages of fear a film that won both the golden bear and Palmer in 1953.In hitch cocks 1955 films to catch a thief; he played a restaurant who served in the French resistance with carry grant. Later he acted as Jean –Paul Belmondo. In his 77 years career, he appeared in more than 200 films.

Charles became the, unique French start, a character actor on stage from 1908 in movies from 1912.did his best work for director Henri-George, achieving ultimate stardom with Diabolique and as Yves Montand co-driver. Charles Vanel had an ever shining award winning carrier. He won his first award at Cannes film festival 1953; he had been nominated for his acting performance in Le Salaire De La Peur. Charles won Le Sur Awards in 1979 for Cesar. In 1981 David Di Donatello Award for Best Supporting Actor, he also won the Karlovy Vary; International Film Festival Awards nominated as Best Actor for Laffaire Mauritius in 1954.Charles Vanel also won the Zulueta Prize at the San Sebastian International Film Festival for Le Deer Aux Padres 1951. Charles Vanel married Arlette Mauricutte Bailey. He died on 15th April 1989, in Cannes Alpes-Maritimes (France).
