Chris Sanders

Christopher Michael "Chris" Sanders is an animation director, illustrator and voice actor of America. He recognized for his work in the Disney animated feature "Lilo & Stitch" and DreamWorks "How to Train Your Dragon," as a co-writer and the director, and he had lent his voice for Stitch, a fictional character in "Lilo & Stitch." Sanders was born on March 12, 1962, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He went to Arvada High School in Arvada, Colorado. At the age of 10, after seeing Ward Kimball animated shorts on "The Wonderful World of Disney," Chris fell in love with animations. He graduated in 1984 from California Institute of the Arts. After his graduation, Sanders started his career as a character designer for Muppet Babies at Marvel Productions for four years.

In 1987, he moved over to Walt Disney Feature Animation studio, where he turned as a storyboard artist, production designer, artistic director and character designer on " The Lion King Click to look into! >> Read More... ", "Beauty and the Beast", and " Mulan Click to look into! >> Read More... ". His work on the movie "Mulan" earned him two Annie Awards in the storyboarding and screenwriting categories. It led him to write, direct, and voice "Lilo & Stitch." Sanders then moved to DreamWorks Animation where he co-wrote, co-directed and did character design for How to Train Your Dragon. His upcoming films are "The cards 2 "and "How to Train Your Dragon 3" set to be released in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
