Grant Orchard has been in this industry for over 20 years. He has a unique approach. He has received two D&D Awards for interaction design.

His short film, A Morning Stroll, has received some important awards such as Bafta, received an award for short film animation 2012, and the animation award in Sundance. The short film, A Morning Stroll got also nominated for Oscar best animated short film in 2012.

He t also directed and produced Hey Duggee. It is Studio AKA’s beginning of the original pre-school show for CBeebies & BBC Worldwide. Hey, Duggee is a children’s show and at first, Grant was reluctant to do the show. The show has 52 episodes per season.

He was worried about cost, but that wasn’t the problem, the animation and design quality was good, and he enjoyed doing this child show. Grant has two sons, and they are quite mischievous. They are full of energy and inspired by his sons, he created the TV show Hey Duggee.

He has treated the characters without any discrimination with gender. He has been working on commercials for a long time and so doing Hey Duggee was a different, and fun experience for him. He wants the kids to watch the show standing up, and close to the TV.

He wants the children to enjoy, and have fun as much as possible. Grant is the designer of The Amazing World of Gumball. He also creates graffiti and posters that appear around Elmore Junior High. He t works at Studio AKA as a director, animator, and designer on various projects.

They have a team of 16 people and six-eight scriptwriters He also helped Ben Bocquelet know, and learn about animation before he started working at Cartoon Network. Grant faced many challenges in his work, but he overcame all and got success in his field of work.

He knows very well how to manage professional commitments, personal projects, and family life. He has maintained a perfect balance between all and gives the required time that each one deserves.
