His career in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of six with television commercials, including one for “Chips Ahoy!”. Then, he landed a role in one of the movies named, “Rocky V” in the year 1990. Further, he starred in the film adaptation of the book, “Alan and Naomi”, two years later, and also starred alongside Toby Maguire (Spiderman) in the television show, “Great Scott!”. His performance earned him “Young Artist Award” for “Best Young Actor Co-Starring in a Television Series”.

He was featured in the comedy movie, “The Beverly Hillbillies”. Some of the other television dramas in which he has kept up appearances are, “ER”, “Getting By”, and “Wings”. Moreover, he was a part of the project called, “Don’s Plum”, alongside Leonardo Di Caprio and Toby Maguire. He bagged the role of “Ryan Malloy” in the project, “Unhappily Ever After” and then, Connolly himself chose to direct six episodes of the same show in its fourth season, making it his directorial unveiling. In the year 2007, he finally made it as a director by creating a movie, “Gardener of Eden”, which was presented at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Kevin is best remembered as “E” (Eric Murphy), which is his character’s name in the television show, Entourage. In the year 2009, he acquired a nomination in the Golden Globe Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series- Musical or Comedy. Later in the year 2015, Kevin’s role was re-presented as Eric in the movie adaptation of the show. Some of the other movies of which he has been an active part are, “The Notebook”, “John Q”, “The Secretariat” etc. In the year 2008, he was approached to direct the music video for “The Game”, their track called, “Camera Phone”.

He was the director of the documentary movie, “Big Shot”, which was presented at the Tribeca Film Festival and Hamptons International Film Festival, both in the year 2013.
