Richard Schiff is an American actor and director known for playing Toby Ziegler on The West Wing. Talking about his early life, Richard was born on May 27, 1955, in Bethesda, Maryland, and was raised in New York City. Before acting, his early jobs were driving a taxi in New York City and cleaning buses in the Greyhound terminal on 11th Avenue. Richard is also on the National Advisory Board of the Council for a Livable World. Since 2017, he has had a leading role in The Good Doctor’s television series as Dr Aaron Glassman in the medical drama.
