Ron Smoorenburg

Ron Smoorenburg is a martial artist, actor, stuntman and fight choreographer and holds the record of highest jump kick (11 feet). Fondly called as Ron, he was born on April 30, 1974, in Nieuwegein, Utrecht in Netherlands. He came to prominence after he debuted as a henchman in Jackie Chan starrer 'Who am I' and acted in the film’s finale action fight sequence with Chan.

Standing tall at 6'2" (1.88 m), he had started to groom himself for the harsh career he would choose right from his childhood days. Starting with Judo, he later transitioned to Karate and ultimately began to work in movies as a stunt performer. He credits Jackie Chan, Hwang In-Shik and Jean-Claude Van Damme for piquing his interest in the field of Marshall Arts. He has never limited himself to any particular film Industry.
