Gabrielle Monique Union is an American actress, born in Omaha, Nebraska, US and raised in California. She was a talented and a hard working girl during her school time and had a passionate follow-up of soccer and basketball. In 1992, she started an internship at the payless shoe store where she met with a horrifying incident after which she was in a shock and her friends helped her to overcome that.

It was the Winfrey’s talk show which also helped her to overcome the trauma. In the middle of attending the University of Nebraska, she returned to her hometown and got admission in Cuesta College, as she was finding it hard to fit in she dropped that college too after the first semester and finally ended up at UCLA.

In between her studies she found a new internship for her at a modelling agency and as soon as she graduated from the college the agency offered her a modelling contract, and she agreed. She soon graced the publication of a teen magazine after which she came with an idea of trying her hand at acting and gave her first audition in 1996.

The audition gave her a guest role on the show: Saved by the Bell, The New Class. With the years rolling she started getting roles on television shows like Moesha and Sisters. From television sitcoms like Friends in 2001 to supporting roles in teen comedy films, she came into the movie star territory.

She got a boost in 2000 with her movie Bring It On for which she worked hard and gained a new respect for the cheerleaders. With the success of the movie came a new role for her in the television series, City of Angels through which she gained a lot of exposure. In the midway of her hectic schedule, she decided to marry Chris Howard.

After this the years passed, and she gave more and more hits and was loved by the people in her movies like 'The Brothers' (2001), 'Deliver Us from Eva' (2003), 'Daddy’s Little Girls' (2007), 'Think Like a Man' (2012) and 'Think Like a Man Too' (2014). In 2013 she played a lead character in BET drama series, 'Being Mary Jane' and won NAACP Image Award.

In the following year, she got married to Dwyane Wade. In the year 2016, she is playing a character in the three movies which are 'The Birth of a Nation', 'Sleepless Night' and upcoming one ' Almost Christmas Click to look into! >> Read More... '.
