Christopher Allan Lloyd is an American actor born on October 22, 1938, in Stamford, Connecticut. He was born to Samuel R. Lloyd and Ruth. His father was a lawyer while his mother was a singer. He is the youngest child out of four girls and three boys in the family. At the age of 19, he was engaged in pursuing a course in acting in New York City at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre.

He got appreciation for his role in the series 'Taxi' and won a Primetime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for the same. It is important to know that he won this award twice.

He was offered an eccentric Doc Brown role in the blockbuster hit movie 'Back to The Future' trilogy. Some of his other films are 'Amazing Stories' and 'Star Trek III'. Some of his series include 'Clue', 'Road to Avonlea', 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'. He was the main lead in the game 'Toonstruck'. In the 1960s, he played a significant role in the movie regeneration of the series 'My Favorite Martian'. Then, he also appeared in the series 'Deadly Games' and 'Stacked'.

He was first married to Catherine Boyd on June 6, 1959. They divorced in 1971. He then married actress Kay Tornborg in 1974 and divorced her in 1987. His third marriage to Carol Ann Vanek lasted from the late 1980s to 1991. His fourth to Jane Walker Wood continued for about 14 years from 1992-2005. He has won a total of 4 awards: 3 Primetime Emmy Awards and 1 Independent Spirit Award. He got the nomination for two Saturn Awards and two Daytime Emmy Awards. He has also done voice-over in the animation field.
