Douglas Gresham

Douglas Howard Gresham is an American actor, executive producer, and biographer. He was born on 10th November in the year 1945. His birthplace was the New York City in New York,U.S. He lived in Malta. His parents are Joy Gresham and William Lindsay Gresham. Both of them were writers.

Gresham is a British and Maltese by nationality. His mother had a friendship with C.S. Lewis. After somedays, their friendship turned into a closer relation. Therefore, they married in 1956. His mother died in 1960 because of cancer. Douglas had been cared by C.S. Lewis after her death. He looked after Douglas’s elder brother, David. He dedicated The Horse and His Boy to both of his adopted sons. In 1963, after Lewis’ death, Gresham’s caretaking  automatically came into the hands of his brother, Warren Hamilton Lewis.

In 2005, Douglas gave an interview on the Channel, NPR. He told that he and his brother were isolated.  Then, at the end of 2005, he addressed that they are in contact with email. Douglas was a Christian whereas his brother backed himself to his family religion, Judaism.

Coming to his career, Douglas worked on his stepfather, Lewis’ famous works. He hosted Focus on the Family works. He became the co-producer of the series titled as The Chronicles of Narnia. It was a theatrical adapted series. He also played a prominent role in the first part as a radio newsreader. In the second and third part, he was seen as a Telmarine crier. In 2014, he became the executive producer for an album. He worked with an artist named Meg Sutherland. In March, he signed this artist for Sprig Music.  Christopher Hopper was the producer of the music video.

Gresham had been famous for his biography works. He wrote an autobiography titled as Lenten Lands. In this, he depicted his whole story from his birth upto his 28 years. Coming to his personal life, Gresham married to Merrie.  He lived in Leighlinbridge, Ireland. They had five children. Timothy, Dominick, and James are his two sons. Melodie and Lucinda are his two daughters.
