John C Reilly

John Christopher Reilly is a man of multiple talents. Brian De Lama became his godfather in his journey of being an actor. Apart from acting, he is also well versed in singing and writing. He is adaptable to different genres of cinema and thus comedy also comes naturally to him. The wedding bells rang for him in 1992 when he married Alison Dickey, who is a film producer. They together have two sons. Brian De Palma launched Reilly with the movie, Causalities of War where he played the character of PFC Herbert Hatcher. Initially, the length of his role was not much, but Brian De Palma expanded it after noticing his performance. He then worked in Boogie Nights where he performed the role of a pornographic film star.

His work and movies grabbed nominations in Oscar as well as Academy Awards several times. He got the nomination for best supporting actor in Oscars for his role of a trusting husband in the movie Chicago which recieved a total of 6 Oscars. He also did a theatre play which was based on the ban on same-sex marriage. The play helped in raising money for the American Foundation for Equal Rights. He remained part of Broadway and got Tony Award Nomination for the play, True West. Apart from television and theatre, he remained a part of the music industry as well.

For the movie, Chicago, he did two songs. Later in 2007, he turned to a songwriter for Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. He did a job of vocalist for the same. The year 2011 saw him releasing two singles. Later, in 2014, he appeared in the song, HAM, in the direction of Eric Wareheim. In 2015, he performed with his friends on the Tiny Disk Concert series.
