Mark Atkin is a talented model and film actor from Wellington, New Zealand. He was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England and shifted to Staffordshire, where he grew up and studied.

In 1996, he started working as a police officer at West Midlands Police and later worked in Hertfordshire Constabulary. In 2004, he moved to Metropolitan Police in London. Mark also joined the police force in Wellington, New Zealand in the year 2008.

One day, a friend suggested him to go to an open movie audition, which he agreed to do so, even if the production is looking for an actor under 5ft 2 in, in height. When he got there, he was told that he was too tall, and so he went away. One of the producers came to him and asked him to come back and then, he was told to do another audition.
