Ann B Davis

Ann Bradford Davis had a stupendous success in Amerian television. She was best known for playing the part of Alice Nelson in the Cummings Show. She twice won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Ann Bradford Davis went to Strong Vincent High School and did her graduation. After that, she moved to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. In 1948, Davis graduated with a degree in drama and speech. Her interest in drama was triggered due to her brother’s performance. 

Ann Bradford Davis got her first role in television through The Bob Cummings Show. She fetched a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Ann Bradford Davis never married in her life nor did anyone know her romantically interested in anyone.

In the season of 1953-1954, Ann appeared as a music judge on ABC`s. She was famous for her appearances in television Commercials for the Ford Motor company. She featured in commercials for Minute Rice.She also appeared as a physical education teacher at a private girl Academy in John Forsythe. She played the role of housekeeper in 1969 to 1974 in The Brady Bunch television Series. It had reruns too.  

The Brady Bunch was first aired in 1969 and continued its journey for five years. Its sequels were also made; The Brady Girls Get Married (1981), A Very Brady Christmas (1988), The Brady Brides (1981) and The Brady’s (1990).

She also did a cameo appearance as a truck driver named Schultzy. Moreover, she performed in a production of Arsenic and Old Lace.Ann had a great passion for acting. Ann won the Emmy Award twice. Both awards were received for the television program in The Bob Cummings Show.

Ann breathed her last on June 1, 2014, in San Antonio. The cause of death was Subdural Hematoma; she fell in her bathroom in the San Antonio Residence. Ann's death was a shock because she was at the pink of her health at the age of 88 years.
